Inspired by vintage work trousers, The Carnegie Pant from Taylor Stitch is a hard-wearing pair that doesn't need any babying. Clean tailoring and a slim silhouette also make them easy to dress up when the occasion calls.

Old-school shaped flaps on the back pockets finish them off nicely. Wear them with a chunky knit and boots at the weekend, or with an Oxford shirt and a jacket when you want something a little smarter. They're versatile trousers that will only get better with age.

MATERIAL

A tightly woven 12-oz. wool-blend herringbone with plenty of texture, which only becomes more pronounced as the years go on. Its weight and hard-wearing feel are a nod to traditional cold-weather workwear, so don't be afraid to give them some wear.
