3Sixteen's Type 3s denim jacket pays homage to the classic Type III design with a few notable differences. It begins with their flagship 14.5oz 120x shadow selvedge denim that will fade with high contrast. See bottom of the page for images of how the jacket fades. The body has been slightly lengthened and they've added hand pockets that are lined with a Japanese fine wale black corduroy. Absent from the jacket are the standard Type III back seams and waist cinches; they opted to give the back of the jacket a cleaner design by replacing the original yoke with our trademark crossed back.

This is a slim fit jacket so we recommend sizing up with this one. This is 3Sixteen's official advise and we agree. Actually we would also say that sometimes it's best to size 2 sizes up if you're on the larger side of your size and you want room for a thick shirt or sweater underneath. Jonathan here at The Revive Club is 182cm tall, 75kg and 103cm chest usually would take a Medium - but in this jacket takes an XL. The Large fits in the body but is too tight in the shoulders and arms. An XL gives him room for movement and layers. Also consider that if you want to get great fades out of this jacket, you may consider giving it at least six months or hard use, then a cold wash - the wash will bring out epic fades but cause a little bit of shrinkage too. If in doubt as to your correct size, drop us a mail or chat with us in the icon in the bottom right of the page.
