This is a coat made the old fashioned way, but with a more contemporary fit.  We can imagine this coat being in a vintage store forty years from now.  The outer fabric is made from a Gabardine blend, treated with a fine wax layer.  This gives it water-repellent characteristics, but with a beautiful opaque and soft hand given by the cashmere added to the wool blend.  The fabric is soft, yet has a substantial feel - the kind that makes you want to throw it on at the first sign of a wet and windy day.  Elegant if needed, and with many styling options to dress it down to suit a more casual style.

There is a detachable internal lining that also features insulated arms - making it ideal for cold-weather situations, but also equally at home as a mid-season coat in between seasons.

Superb quality construction, all made in Italy.  Based on a vintage design from the L'impermeabile archives, and once called the 'Martin Coat', this updated classic is a coat is a truly classic piece, built to last.
