The Dean Reversible Trench Coat

Some reversible garments - you can reverse them, but you still feel like you're wearing it inside it.  This coat is truly reversible - in other words it looks as amazing whichever way you wear it.

On one side you have a sturdy 100% cotton fabric that you will find on many of L'impermeabile's trench coats - keeps the wind out, the rain out, whilst looking decidedly elegant and smart.  On the other side, is a magnificent Shetland tweed wool from the UK, that either looks fantastic as a lining to your coat, or a stunning tweed trench coat if you turn it the other way around.

Both fabrics have a wonderful soft hand, and the pockets are lined with a wonderfully soft flannel.

This is a coat made the old fashioned way, but with a more contemporary fit.  We can imagine this coat being in a vintage store forty years from now.  The outer fabric is made from a 100% cotton fabric, treated with a fine wax layer.  This gives it water-repellent characteristics, but with a beautiful opaque and soft hand given by the cashmere added to the wool blend.  The fabric is soft, yet has a substantial feel - the kind that makes you want to throw it on at the first sign of a wet and windy day.  Elegant if needed, and with many styling options to dress it down to suit a more casual style.
